There are two of us at Compu-Spa.com … one of us, Shannon, is software oriented and the other, Jeanne, is a tech, trained and authorized to work on your PC.

Shannon has been involved with computers her whole life, which started long before home computers were the rage and Windows was a twinkle in anybody’s eye. She learned to use a computer running DOS only, and has kept current with most of what’s happened in the industry over the years.

She has been a web designer for the past 8 years, and a database developer for the past 2. She has been a trouble shooter for the whole time also because, well … PCs require it! And she’s gotten really good at it. She can prep a computer for re-format in record time and knows how to get all the little things, like your email address book AND the messages, backed up so they’re not lost in the process. She’s done it so many times, having been a PC user for 20+ years, that she can almost do it in her sleep. As a result, she is now a Mac user, purchasing an Apple machine when Windows XP was the only PC option. As of now, she has pretty good skills at trouble shooting both platforms, although the Mac has, of course, never needed it quite the way a PC does.

Jeanne studied computer tech for 2 years, and has been working in the field for equally as long. She’s the one who tests all the hardware to make sure it’s working, and she does the re-formats after Shannon has backed up the data. Again, this is something that has been done so many times that it is now second nature to her. She has no fears and will tackle the worst of them … most often with great success!
